Movement Research Opportunity

WHAT:

Looking for dancers/movers interested in exploring/researching through scored improvisation.

The scores were created during a month-long residency in Enonkoski, Finland, and are deeply rooted in Earth-based observations and phenomenon, and are inspired by/entwined with the work approaches of Andrea Olsen/Caryn McHose, Anna Halprin, Body Cartography, and Jamie McHugh.

There may be an opportunity for performance in Nov/Dec 2020.

WHO: Led by Amanda Erin, a Body-Mind Centering-trained Somatic Movement Educator, this work is an opportunity for you to deepen your own personal research and somatic understandings.

HOW MUCH: No-to-low cost ($5 or less per session), depending on space/rent needs.

HOW OFTEN: Looking to gather with fellow researchers once a week or two weeks for 3 hours, at least until mid-May – you do not need to be available for each session.
